MOMO TO SCORE MARA ADINA CALUGAREANU'S NEW FILM, JAN'07

This month, Momo was greenlit to design the musical structure to a stylish new 30-minute narrative, What, that's just finished shooting in London.

Director Calugareanu has described the project as "inherantly about lonliness" as the near-dialogueless story follows three characters through their dramatic creative turning points over the course of the same day.

So is a film 'inherantly about lonliness' a fun idea for the composer of the tenatiously cheery Metrophilia?

"You bet" says Tim. "This film is structuring itself in large part around the musical atmosphere and sound design. It's a nice opportunity to really tart about with sounds. It's a very rythmic piece, in structure and camera work and much of the editing will be around what I write. Stylishly sad isn't so hard to do, the challenge I'm looking forward to is bringing out the hope at the centre of this story's events."
