Wyke Farms releases a whistful new
30" telly advert, October 2009

Thinking Juice's new ad for the Somerset family cheese supremos harks back to some classic taste – with a little whistful help from Momo:tempo.

Wyke Farms have long been a nostalgic lot. Their business has been in the family, along with their famous cheddar recipe, for a very long time. And this latest half-minuter from TJ enjoys the heritage with a particular spot of daydreaming.

Momo's orginal theme for the Wyke ads fits very nicely here, as we hear the story of former Wyke employee, Stan Graves, and his recollections of working on the farm in more sepier times.

The tale was inspired by his genuine letter to Wyke, after seeing their earlier TV ad, prompting the now 84-year-old to reminisce about some happy memories of milking in all weathers – though there might have been a little romantic licence taken about young Daisy here. But that's telly for you.
